Description

Gracefulness and lightness characterise this painting. The main characters, jellyfish, among the oldest organisms to appear in the animal kingdom, are almost flying and dancing with their long trains, and are depicted by means of firm three-dimensional palette-knife strokes that are left immaculate to create a contrast to the coloured biodiversity of the underwater Eden, a realm of harmony and silence.
